Our university stresses importance on managing, monitoring, and training the teaching staff. Classroom times and attendance strictly adhere to the timetables, and the teachers are well prepared for class.

I am glad to be a student at our university. All the students work hard in their studies. Also many students participate in extra-curricular activities, which enable us to enjoy a colorful university experience.

Yes, I like it very much. With China’s entry into the WTO, there will be a significant need for us to have advanced English skills.

你如何看待大学英语四、六级考试？
I think the tests objectively assess our English level. Thanks to these tests, our English study will be enormously stimulated. Besides, many changes have taken place in the CET-4 and CET-6, such as the enlarged proportion of the listening comprehension. I believe my listening comprehension will be enhanced through training.

Yes, I like it very much! English class is always very interesting and the students actively participate in group discussions, dialogue and create a talk show. The teachers are always friendly and helpful.

I have made many friends among my classmates and roommates. We get together often for dinning and recreation activities. We are considerate and helpful to each other.

(Frankly speaking, it is impossible for me to get along with my roommates. They are simply too noisy and I am a quiet person.

First I think we should work hard and master the basic theories and skills in our fields of study. Second we should develop ourselves morally and spiritually. Third we should learn practical skills in social communication.

The library is a very modern facility. We are very proud of the twin tower building. The library is open everyday. There are thousands of books with a variety of topics and subjects. Students spend time reading the vast amount of volumes of books, magazines, and newspapers.
我们图书馆设备很先进。我们为学校的双子楼感到自豪。图书馆每天都开放，在那里我们可以找到涉及各种话题的图书。很多同学喜欢在阅览室看期刊杂志。

Our university has an on-going scholarships program awarding excellent and outstanding students performance. In addition, we can also apply for the student loans from the bank if additional funds are needed.

I consider my biggest problem is that I haven’t yet adapted myself to college life, because I don’t know how to manage my time, and I think too much time is wasted.
我的问题是我仍然没有适应大学生活，而且我不会安排自己的时间和生活，所以我浪费了很多宝贵时间。

38.  Are you going to further your study after graduation?
大学毕业后，你会继续你的学业吗？
Yes, I have a plan to continue studying for a higher degree. I feel uncertain and I am not ready for the fierce competition in today’s society.
是的，我的确有此打算，因为现在社会中的竞争太激烈了，我恐怕当我毕业时还没有做好工作的准备。
(No, currently I don’t have any plans to continue studying for a higher degree. I want to begin working immediately after graduation and apply what I learned.

39．What is your opinion about cheating during examinations?
    你对考试作弊现象是怎么看的？
University students shouldn’t cheat during examinations, and the administrators should adopt severe measures to penalize any such practice. More importantly teachers should also strictly enforce the university rules and regulations. When they see students cheating, they shouldn’t turn a blind eye to it.
我们作为一名大学生不应该考试作弊。学校管理者应该从严处理考试作弊者。老师们也应该严格执行学校的规章制度，对考试作弊不能视而不见。

40.  Do you have any suggestions for improvements at SCUN?
你对于本校建设有什么建议？
Yes, I think the curriculum could be modified to broaden our horizons. Also if the university could extend the opening hours of the fitness centers, the stadium, and the reading rooms, our leisure hours would be more colorful.
我们的课程应该调整，这样才能扩大我们的视野。此外，如果学校延长健身中心、体育馆和阅览室的开放时间, 我们的课余生活就会更加丰富。
